Inspired by the quiet strength of small rural communities, this semi-abstract piece reflects connection, shelter and belonging. The clustered cottages sit together beneath a vast Atlantic sky — weathered by the elements, yet warm with life and resilience.

Prints can be purchased mount only or ready framed in a lime white frame.

All prints are double mounted, and are available in two sizes:

20″ x 16″ mount (the print is 16 x 12 with 2 inches of mount) or
16″ x 12″ mount (the print is 12 x 8 with 2 inches of mount)

Non-standard framing is available on request. Please call the Gallery or contact us for options. Choices include standard frame in black, or Lincoln frames in lime white, cream, grey brown or light brown.

Created using oils on MDF board, the painting focuses on atmosphere and memory rather than exact place. I must have at least 4 other paintings underneath the final one as I tried over and over to create this piece but all adds to the process and that happens a lot in my work, the beauty of using Oils
