I am delighted to say that the venue that supports The Great Big Art Event, Caislean Óir Hotel, Annagry, NW Donegal, Ireland has now given us a space at the Reception of the hotel to showcase an Artist a Month. Every opportunity an Artist can get to platform their work is truly fantastic and beneficial because we work in a solitary bubble and so it is exciting and nerve wracking to show our achievements to the public but they have to be shown or what’s the point, sales are a bonus. The footfall in the hotel is immense so it adds to the visitors experience.
Also lately, I got the huge opportunity to be a part of the highly successful TV program “Réaltaí na Gaeltacht” on RTE1 which can still be viewed on RTE iPlayer. It was such a privilege to be a part of it and something I will never forget. Again, to get the Exposure and to reach audiences of over 400K was phenomenal. (more than the Late Late)
I do believe everything is for a reason and in this business you need patience as it takes time, courage, real belief in yourself and determination and then let the planets do the rest.
