Another side of what I love to do with regards to painting is en plein air where you immerse yourself into the painting fully as it evolves and it involves not only the landscape but the sounds, smells, temperature and peace that is extremely beautiful. Never mind listening to Spotify.. it’s just wonderful to hear the rushing water in a close by babbling stream, the rustling of bushes toing and froing with the gentle breeze and of course the harmonics of birdsong… truly immersive with nature. This can also be said when attempting Seascapes en plein air where the rush of the sea and the crash of the waves give huge energy and excitement. The salty air adding to the sharpness hat when you close your eyes and just feel the force of nature. It’s a true blessing to everyone, humbling.
