To date, this is my favourite piece of work.

This image was taken by Marie, my daughter of her brother and me when as a family, a few years ago we visited the Scottish Island my father was born and raised on: Benbecula.
As a child on holiday there, we would go to this beach often.

when Marie caught this shot on her phone, I knew right away I had to paint it, a memory forever in my heart and i gifted this to Ronan, my son. It will stand the test of time hopefully for my future grandchildren and let the memory last a long time.

Special memories are so extremely precious and to me this painting is magical, tender and says more than words ever could.
