‘Oilean na Marbh” Boat Strand, Carrickfin Beach.
Although this is such an idyllic, beautiful spot, there is a very sad element to this image. The Island that you see in front is the last resting place to a lot of graves. Unidentified Soldiers from WW1 and 2 and other cases are buried here and every August there is a Mass on the beach to remember the poor forgotten souls.
